After the T-Mobile party on Sunset Blvd. that took place last night, actress Bonnie

Somerville left the event with a male friend at 2 a.m. and the couple were attacked by a
mystery man.

Somerville, who is most recognizable for her role in Friends as Ross' girlfriend Mona, was

approached by a gunman who shot her companion in the back.

According to TMZ, the assailant then said, "Bitch, gimme your purse or you'll get shot too."

Bonnie complied and the suspect fled with a group of men in a vehicle, according to
witnesses.

The victim was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood and was
"alert and awake" during transport.
